Gold-Panning

Tree climbing

In tree climbing you will begin to know the very nature of the tree and its ‘milieu’, to wake up all your senses, to channel your emotions, whilst learning to co-ordinate your energy, your agility and your balance; seek to master yourself, to find new sensations, or a corner of childhood. Take to the heights!

Trails on a theme

In an afternoon of discovery and relaxation, accompanied by a specialist (on the wildlife, the moors, the Nantes to Brest Canal, and also local products and how they are made...) you will be able to find out about the richness of our region and its hidden treasures.

Going Down (‘Glissières’) Water Chutes

Over a 7,5km stretch of the Nantes to Brest canal the centre nautique offers the chance to descend the 24 water chutes (which by-pass the locks) in a water toboggan at Glomel.

A Day at School in the 1930’s

At the ‘Musée Rural de l’Education’ (Rural Museum of Education) on the school path, lesson time with dictation, morals, writing ..., ‘soupe au pain’ (bread soaked in soup) at midday, visit the museum and the studio ‘jeux et jouets buissonniers’ (games and wooden toys). In summer, every Tuesday afternoon at 15h, the school of the Musée Rural de l’Education in the village of Bothoa recreates the charming atmosphere of a school room of the 1930’s: waxed wooden desks, the smell of chalk and violet ink ... The Attelages du Kreiz Breizh (Kreiz Breizh Working Horses) will introduce you to their Breton horses, whose speciality is hauling timber.
